This Friday and Saturday is the Haverford Guild Spring Craft Show at St. George's Episcopal Church in Havertown. I have gone to this show many times to shop and have been so impressed by the quality of the crafts and skill of the artisans. This is the first time for Beauty and the Beads to participate as a vendor at this event. Both Sharon and I have been working very hard to have many new pieces ready to go! Beauty and the Beads Home Show
Sharon and I will be hosting our semi-annual home show on Wednesday, June 10, Thursday, June 11 and Friday, June 12! We usually host this show in April or May but our Beauty and the Beads schedule has been so busy that we could not fit it in! (That's a good thing!) So I hope to see as many of you as possible! Spring is here!
After this long, very cold winter, it is wonderful to see crocus's popping up through the grass at the edge of my property. I can even see some tulip and hyacinth leaves trying to burst through in the flower beds! The kumihimo bracelet in this picture reflect the colors of spring. The miyuki seed beads are enhanced with Czech pressed glass leaves and a flower brass button. This one-of-a-kind bracelet measures 7.75" and is $42. I am so sad to see Downton Abbey season ending that I created this new set!
I love watching Downton Abbey and hate that we have to wait a whole year between seasons. I saw a piece of jewelry online and it reminded me of the show. I added a slight modern twist to it!
